About me
My name is Laura Betz, a 2D background artist based in Paris, mainly working in the animation industry.
I began my career in 2016 at Normaal studio as a background color artist, and since then I have collaborated with various studios such as Millimages, Ankama, Xilam, Dandeloo, and most recently Fost, on a Netflix produced TV series. Over the course of these productions, I have contributed to a variety of tasks, including background painting, layout, and design.
My favorite mediums are digital and traditional painting, as well as colored pencils and pastels. I particularly enjoy painting landscapes, especially nature, and painting colorful worlds in my artwork.
